Denise Nesbitt

Denise Nesbitt

Deputy HR Director, OD and Learning and Development

Denise is a senior HR development professional, with extensive experience in both private and public sectors.  MBA qualified and a Fellow of the CIPD, Denise’s expertise is in Leadership and Organisation Development.  She is an experienced coach and facilitator, working with senior leaders in a range of organisations including SMEs and Not for Profit. 

 

Iain Rollitt-James

Senior HR/OD Partner, Learning & Development

Iain is a senior OD professional with extensive talent development and organisational development expertise. Iain is customer focused, operating as a true partner to the organisation first and as a subject matter expert, second. He is a strategic thinker and shaper who maintains a hands on, pragmatic approach to problem solving and implementation. He specializes in the development of emotional intelligence, is an experienced facilitator  and executive level coach. Iain is also practitioner of a wide range of psychometric instruments.  

Lesley Dicker

HR/OD Partner, Learning & Development

Lesley is a Learning and Development professional with a background in generalist HR and extensive experience working in both public and private sectors. In addition to her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources, she is a qualified coach, mentor, action learning facilitator and MBTI practitioner. Lesley oversees the programme of courses and workshops offered centrally.

Ruth Miller

Ruth Miller

HR/OD Partner, Learning & Development

Ruth is an experienced Learning and Development professional, having worked in various L&D roles in Europe and Australia, primarily within technology organisations, since 2000.  Ruth completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources in 2013, focussing on the impact of behavioural change within organisations.  An experienced MBTI practitioner and facilitator of leadership development and change programmes, Ruth also coordinates the LFHE Aurora programme annually and is aligned to the Information Services Group where she provides bespoke training and L&D consultancy services to the group.

Joanna Fairweather

Joanna Fairweather

HR/OD Partner, Learning & Development

Joanna is a Learning and Development professional and has worked in private, public and third sector organisations. As a qualified career guidance coach and facilitator she has experience of supporting individuals achieve their full potential. Joanna has worked in organisational development roles and completed her CIPD Award in Organisational Development in 2015. Her current projects include managing the First Steps Into Leadership programme and working with the technician community.

David Cowan

David is a Learning and Development professional with extensive experience working in the private sector with a strong emphasis on Leadership development and coaching and mentoring. David has also worked on various organisational development projects throughout his career. Associate CIPD member with a diploma in Learning and Development management. David is an experienced facilitator who has a passion for people development.

Cara Fullbrook

Assistant HR Partner, Learning & Development

Cara is a learning and development professional with a background in generalist HR.  Cara has previously worked in broadcast media and publishing and will be facilitating people management training and coordinating the Mentoring Connections Programme within the university.

Frances Grebenc

Frances Grebenc

HR/OD Partner, Learning & Development

Frances is an experienced facilitator and project manager, working in Learning and Organisational Development roles in both the private and public sectors, in Canada and Scotland.  In addition to her Masters in Human Resources, Frances is a qualified coach, mentor, action learning facilitator and MBTI practitioner.  Over the last few years, Frances has led on the Mentoring Connections Programme within the University.  She enjoys working with staff and teams to achieve their personal and career development needs.  

Frances is currently on Maternity Leave.
