University Clubs
There are a number of clubs and societies open to University staff. These can be found on the University club webpages.
Meet-Up Edinburgh
If you want to meet like-minded individuals outside the University network, a good place to start is the ‘meetup’ website. There are many different Edinburgh based groups listed catering for a whole range of interests and hobbies.
Sport and Fitness
University staff have access discounted membership rates to the fantastic facilities at Sport and Exercise. There are also a number of sports clubs run by the Edinburgh University Sports Union (EUSA) that are open to University staff and students. For more information, please see the links below.
Regular Events
Every August the city is filled with artists, comedians, music ensembles, theatre companies from around the world. Every other building seems turned into a venue for the gigs and shows that run every day, from morning until night.
The streets around the city centre, especially the Royal Mile, are filled with stalls and free street entertainment.
The Fringe and Festival is an amazing experience. Just ask any Edinburgh native!
