Opportunities to visit
Take advantage of the many opportunities to visit the University and see it for yourself before you come to study here.
Recognising the rapidly evolving impact of Covid-19, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the on-campus Offer Holder Days and June Open Day events.
Please consult our Covid-19 webpages, which we are updating regularly, for detailed advice and support.
Open Days and tours
There are lots of opportunities throughout the year to visit the School of History, Classics and Archaeology.
University Open Days
See the campus and its facilities, attend subject information talks and general student information sessions, meet current students and academic staff.
Offer holder days
If you have received an offer to study with us, find out more about the Edinburgh experience via our Offer Holder Hub.
Read more about studying History at the University of Edinburgh, and hear from current students about what it's like.
If you have an offer to study Classics read more about the subject and meet students already studying it.
Find out more about studying Archaeology and what current students say about the subject.
Online information sessions
If you can't make it to Edinburgh for an Open Day join our live online information sessions.
Student-led campus tour
You can join a student-led campus tour. These are organised each week throughout the year.
You can create your own tour of the central campus after downloading the University’s self-guided tour leaflets.
If you're not able to attend one of our Open Days, we should be able to arrange an adhoc tour of the School. You can arrange a tour by contacting Dr Guillaume Robin, our Deputy Undergraduate Director at email@example.com
