Staff on screen and print

Two staff members reach wider audiences with a TV discussion on a historical figure and a publication on a new book on Ritual Cave Use.

Hollywood got the historical treatment this week as Dr Anna Groundwater gave her expert opinions following the release of the new ‘Mary, Queen of Scots’ film starring Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie. She appeared on STV’s ‘Scotland Tonight’ programme with Alison Rowat, film critic at The Herald newspaper, and you can watch the full interview on STV Player, https://player.stv.tv/summary/scotland-tonight

Dr Lindsey Büster’s new book, "Between Worlds: Understanding Ritual Cave Use in Later Prehistory", was published very recently. Co-edited with Eugène Warmenbol and Dimitrij Mlekuž, it explores new theoretical frameworks that examine the agency of caves and the complex interplay between environment, taphonomy and human activity.

Between Worlds: Understanding Ritual Cave Use in Later Prehistory" is published by Springer International Publishing.
