Society success in awards
Two HCA School societies have been nominated for EUSA awards.
The School is thrilled to report that two societies - Edinburgh University History Society and Retrospect Journal – have been nominated in the Edinburgh University Students’ Association 2017 Activities Awards.
Edinburgh University History Society – the University’s largest society – has been nominated as Best Student Group, Best Group Event (for their Winter Ball) and Most Welcoming Society. Ruby Trudgen, President, and Brittany Serafin, Secretary, of the Society have been nominated for Best Committee Member of the Year with Brittany also being nominated as a Society Star.
Retrospect Journal also appears in the Best Student Group nominees, and Charlotte Lauder, Editor-in-Chief, has been nominated as Best Committee Member of the Year and as a Society Star.
The winners will be announced on 21 March at a special event at the Assembly Rooms. Until then we’re crossing everything for the worthy HCA nominees. Congratulations everyone!
