Templer Medal for 'Military History of Scotland'

Further congratulations to Dr Jeremy Crang on 'A Military History of Scotland'.

The book, which he co-edited with Professor Matthew Strickland and Professor Edward Spiers, has won a second accolade: the Templer Medal by the Society for Army Historical Research.

The Templer Medal is awarded each year to the book which makes the most significant contribution to advancing knowledge and understanding of the history of the British Army.

Scottish History Book of the Year 2012

'A Military History of Scotland' was also chosen by the Saltire Society as Scottish History Book of the Year for 2012.
