Dr Chris Harding on Radio 3

The first broadcast from New Generation Thinker Dr Christopher Harding went out on BBC Radio 3's 'Night Waves' programme on 17 June.

‘New Generation Thinker’ is the name given to the winners of a prestigious competition, organised by BBC Radio 3 and the Arts & Humanities Research Council, which aims to find the academic broadcasters of the future.

In his programme Dr Harding talked about Buddhism and psychoanalysis in Japan, and the way that religion and the 'psy disciplines' can have a fruitful relationship even when they disagree on some of life's big questions.

The broadcast is now available from the 'Night Waves' website (link below).
