Brittany Serafin - Society Star Award Winner

There are over 250 societies and 14 volunteering groups at Edinburgh University Students' Association and the School of History, Classics and Archaeology is delighted to hear that the History Society was recognised at the 2017 Activities Awards at a ceremony on Tuesday 21 March, 2017.

One of the largest societies, the History Society was named Best Academic Student Group and its Secretary, Brittany Serafin, took the Society Star Award. Its President, Ruby Trudgen, was also runner-up for Best Committee Member of the Year.

‘It has been an absolutely fantastic year for the History Society,’ said Brittany. ‘Building on the successes of previous committees in the last few years, the society is now one of the biggest and most recognisable societies on campus. We are so grateful to all of our members for attending each of our events, becoming involved in our outreach projects, and supporting us throughout the year.’

Well done everyone!
