Dr Lucy Grig is discussing Constantine the Great with Melvyn Bragg on BBC Radio 4’s popular ‘In Our Time’ programme today!

Senior Lecturer in Roman History, Dr Grig, is part of a panel discussing the life and influence of Constantine the Great (c280s -337AD), proclaimed Emperor by his army in York in 306AD, the first Roman Emperor to profess Christianity and the creator of Constantinople as an Imperial capital. Joining Dr Grig is Professor Christopher Kelly (University of Cambridge and President of Corpus Christi College) and Greg Woolf (Director of the Institute of Classical Studies, University of London).
