Funding for taught masters programmes

The University of Edinburgh has announced new funding for UK and EU masters students for 2016 entry. (Published 4 February 2016)

Awards are based on academic merit and are designed to attract the brightest students in their chosen academic fields. Two types of award area available:

UK/EU Masters Awards

The School is pleased to announce that one award of £10,000 and four awards of £4,500 are available to eligible students within the School of History, Classics and Archaeology.

UK Masters Access Awards

As part of the scheme above, the University is also offering twenty UK Masters Access Awards - each worth £10,000 - for the 2016/17 academic session for UK nationals. Eligible candidates in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology may apply for these awards.
