Honours for Honorary Fellow

The School was delighted to learn that Dr Alison Sheridan, Honorary Fellow in Archaeology, has received two prestigious honours recently.

Honorary Fellow, and Principal Archaeological Research Curator at the National Museum of Scotland, Dr Sheridan was elected as Fellow of the British Academy (FBA), one of the highest distinctions academics can receive in the UK. She has also been awarded the prestigious Prehistoric Society Europa Prize.

Dr Manuel Fernández-Götz, Head of Archaeology Subject Area, said, "Dr Alison Sheridan is one of the most prominent archaeologists in Europe, and we are privileged to have her affiliated with our School as Archaeology Honorary Fellow". 

The School sends its warmest congratulations to Dr Sheridan.
