Caves, Castles and Harbours Trip

From Pictish cave paintings and crumbling seaside castles, to quaint fishing harbours and historic boats, this trip provides an up-close look at the maritime archaeology of the Fife coast.

Wemyss Caves

Many of these sites are endangered by coastal erosion-so hurry and join us as we explore these fascinating sites during ILW.

Date & time: Thursday 20th, 9.00am start, all day trip, return approx 5.00pm
Audience: Any University of Edinburgh student or staff member

Additional information: You should bring money to purchase lunch with you.
Accessibility: Students in wheelchairs will not be able to access some sites to be visited, particularly the cave and castle and folding wheelchairs only can be accommodated on the coach.
Meeting point: Crichton Street, by Appleton Tower - please be there 10-15 mins before scheduled departure time.
