Doctoral Study in HCA?

The School of History, Classics and Archaeology will be holding a briefing lunch (lunch is included) on Tuesday 24 October for current MSc. students considering a PhD. We will briefly introduce the process for applying for a PhD and answer any questions you may have. Please register  to attend by clicking the ‘Register’ button to the right.

If you can't make this event, please feel free to get in touch with the PhD programme director in your subject area (Archaeology - Robert Leighton; Classics - Ben Russell; History - Diana Paton), or with your personal tutor and they will be very happy to answer any questions you may have about applying for PhD programmes. The event will be recorded and made available for viewing.

For those eligible for AHRC awards, the deadline to apply for PhD study is 27 November and the deadline to submit your AHRC application is 4 December. Full details here www.ed.ac.uk/ahrc
