"In spies we trust"

The talk will be based on Professor Jeffreys-Jones's recent book, ‘In Spies We Trust: The Story of Western Intelligence’ (Oxford University Press, 2013).

A Leverhulme emeritus fellowship enabled research for the book and encouraged wider dissemination of Jeffreys-Jones’s findings, through an Oxford University Press blog, ‘The case for a European intelligence service with full British participation’ and an e-International Relations essay, A Critique of the Surveillance Flap’.
