'Puir Bliddy Swaddies: Scottish Poets of World War II'

Readings - in Scots, Gaelic, and English - by Robyn Marsack, Marcas Mac an Tuairneir, and Jim Mackintosh, to live music, will showcase the work of poets who fought in the North African and Italian campaigns as well as those that stayed at home, addressing themes of love, mourning, and shared humanity. Work by Sorley MacLean, George Campbell Hay, Olive Fraser, Edwin Morgan, and Hamish Henderson will featured and the Italian poet Pino Mereu will also make a guest appearance.
