Pirates of the Digital Caribbean

Dr David Silkenat from the University of Edinburgh is currently working on a project examining how American history has been presented in video games. This paper will explore especially Sid Meier's 'Pirates!' (1987) and 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag' (2013).
