Profesor Goodare is a historian of Scotland in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries whose main research themes are government, finance and politics; witchcraft; popular belief; and agriculture.
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception in the foyer outside G.03. Free and open to all.
