'The spectre that came alive: Reactions to the Bolshevik revolution'

The Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 represented their worst dreams come true for the powers-that-be in Europe and North America. The lower orders had risen up, violentyl overthrown the 'natural order' and detroyed established authority. Would this communist pestilence spread? An overview of the Western reaction, and a closer look at responses in Britain and Ireland will be taken by PhD candidate within the School Anna Lively, with David White and Ian Wood.
