Biography

Anna Lively is a PhD candidate in modern European history at the University of Edinburgh. Her PhD explores transnational connections between the Russian and Irish Revolutions between 1905 and 1923, focusing on the history of ideas and press networks. She holds an MSc with distinction in contemporary history from the University of Edinburgh and a first-class history degree from the University of Exeter.

Russian and Soviet history; Irish history; history of revolutions; transnational history; history of ideas.
