The School supports a wide and varied programme of events, from lectures and seminars to film screening and workshops. They are all - unless otherwise stated - free and open to everyone who wishes to attend.

Black History Month - Stella Dadzie
The School of History, Classics and Archaeology will host Stella Dadzie speaking on ‘A Kick in the Belly: Women, Slavery & Resistance' as part of Black History Month.
This exhibition commemorates the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution and explores its Scottish connections. It runs until 29 January 2022.

The Fennell Forum: History and the Climate Crisis
The second event in the Fennell Forum series took place during COP26 and explored the relationship between the study of history and climate change.
This Wellcome Trust funded conference will be held in September 2022, organised by Dr Petros Bouras-Vallianatos and Dr Zubin Mistry.
