Postgraduate Students

Postgraduate community

Although you will be studying from a distance, you will be very much a part of one of the world’s leading universities.

Self-study is central to undertaking distance learning, but our programme is designed to promote interaction. So wherever you are studying from your learning experience will be an enriching, enjoyable and successful one. In addition to our programme’s own study community and active communication forums, there are various other opportunities to get involved and keep in touch outside of the programme itself.

Our School

The School of History, Classics and Archaeology is home to a large community of postgraduate students undertaking both taught and research degrees, many of whom are also actively involved in our research groups and research centres. Some of our research groups and centres sit within the disciplines of Archaeology and Classics, others bring together researchers from across the School.

Selected research seminars may be recorded and made available to our online students.

You can find details of seminar series at the link below.
