School postgraduate scholarships announced
The School is pleased to invite applications from outstanding candidates for Doctoral (PhD) and Masters (MSc) Scholarships for September 2015 entry. (Published 3 November 2014)
School awards for MSc/PhD entry in 2015
Doctoral Scholarships
Applicants that hold a UK first-class honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant field and a postgraduate masters degree of a similar calibre may be eligible to apply for one of the School’s Doctoral Scholarships with an annual stipend and EU tuition fees.
The value of the stipend will match that offered by the Research Councils for 2015/16 (this value is still to be determined but was £13,863 in 2014/15). The School will offer up to three awards.
Masters Scholarships
Alternatively, applicants that hold a UK first-class honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant field and now seek to advance to postgraduate masters study may be eligible for one of the School’s Masters Scholarships.
The School will offer up to 6 awards worth up to £7,000 per annum.
Apply to study
Applicants who wish to be considered for either award must first have applied to study before applying for funding.
