Graduate student wins Kennedy scholarship

The School of History, Classics and Archaeology was delighted to hear confirmation of Tsiona Lida’s being awarded a Kennedy Scholarship. The Scholarship is an academic award for study at either Harvard or MIT. Tsiona, who graduates from the University of Edinburgh in July, said, ‘I feel honoured and very happy to be one of this year's recipients of the Kennedy Scholarship. The Scholarship will allow me to pursue independent research dealing with emotions in history as well as the Israel/Palestine conflict, so the opportunity to take a variety of classes and study with the History, Psychology, and Middle Eastern faculties simultaneously will be unique.’
