The Vagnari Project
This project is an archaeological excavation and field survey in South Italy.

The project has two components:
- Excavation of the Roman village and cemetery at Vagnari
- Field walking in the Basentello valley including intensive survey of the Iron Age and Medieval site on the plateau of San Felice above Vagnari
Excavations at Vagnari
Vagnari is situated in the territory of the medieval-modern town of Gravina in Puglia, about 60 km south west of BARI (the provincial capital) in South Italy.
