Charles Gordon Mackay Lectures in Greek

Prof. David Konstan (Brown University / NYU) will deliver this year's Charles Gordon Mackay Lectures in Greek at The University of Edinburgh.

His lectures are:

• “Beauty and the Greeks, or When Did Aesthetics Go Astray?” (Thursday 6 March, 5.10pm, Lecture Theatre 183, Old College)
• “Image versus Narrative: Ecphrasis in the Classical Tradition” (Monday 10 March, 5.10pm, McEwan Reception Room, Teviot Place)

Both lectures will be followed by a reception. All are welcome.
