About the School
The School of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh is one of the great world centres for the study of the human past.
About our building
The School of History, Classics and Archaeology occupies the West Wing of the Grade A-listed Old Medical Building, situated at the southern edge of the Old Town.
Academic excellence
The School's reputation for research and academic excellence is maintained by constant review and input from staff and students.
Visiting us
The School welcomes visitors throughout the year. If you are unable to attend one of the regular Open Days, you can visit independently on a student-led or self-guided tour.
