Clinical Elective

A unique opportunity to explore new cultures and expand your clinical experience.

The clinical elective experience is an integral and important part of our Bachelor of Nursing with Honours programme, set to instil a high degree of personal responsibility on the part of the student.

Students have a four week period, allocated at the end of the third year, for a clinical elective placement in the UK or abroad. This gives them a chance to obtain experience in an area of particular interest and to further develop their capacity for self-direction with an opportunity for personal and professional development.

The clinical elective is a unique prospect for our students to develop knowledge of different and possibly global aspects of nursing and to enhance their cultural awareness and experience.
