Loss and trauma

Loss - everyday yet pivotal - is at the heart of much work within counselling and psychotherapy.

Trauma, sometimes unacknowledged or unspoken, touches the lives of individuals, families, communities and nations. Within this area of our research, we examine loss and trauma across a range of contexts and life settings, both within and outside the experience of therapy, seeking to find ways to describe, represent, and give voice to that which is often unsayable.
