Postgraduate Taught Programmes
Experience it, feel it, think it, reflect it, theorise it. Our programmes are based on a dialogue between the person-centred approach, located within the humanistic tradition, and psychodynamic perspectives, located within the psychoanalytic tradition.
Our mission
We seek to develop competent, reflective and critically-aware practitioners and researchers who are capable of improving the well-being of their communities and of contributing to our knowledge and understanding of counselling.
Our belief
Effective learning is not just cognitive, but encompasses all aspects of self, including the visceral or embodied, the emotional, and the intellectual. Our approach to teaching and learning is based on this philosophy and encourages and supports students to examine their own experience before relating this to theory.
