Research in health psychology explores the role of psychological processes on health, illness and healthcare. Our research in this area involves a wide range of topics, spanning from food choice, injury prevention, child and adolescent health, and engaging with greenspace, through to developing strategies to support those managing long term health conditions. A particular area of expertise in this theme is in the application of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and third wave approaches.
