School of Health in Social Science

Fees

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology students are funded through NHS Education for Scotland (NES), which pays fees, trainee salaries, and travel expenses.

All trainees are responsible for their own accommodation costs for the duration of the Programme, apart from those in distant NHS Boards (Highland, Grampian, Tayside and Dumfries and Galloway) who are given accommodation expenses during teaching blocks. Trainees in all other Boards are reimbursed for travel expenses to attend teaching on a daily basis.

Trainees will all commence their employment at Spine point 21 on the Agenda for Change Salary Band 6. For all trainees, subject to satisfactory progression, this will increase to Spine point 22 at the start of year 2 and Spine point 23 at the start of year 3.

No self-funded places are currently available.
