A unique feature of the CPD courses provided by Clinical Psychology at the University of Edinburgh is that students have the option to take them for academic credit should they wish.
Students decide which route they want to take when applying for entry onto the course:
Academic credit route
Students who take the course for academic credit attend course sessions and, in addition, need to complete and pass the course assignment.
CPD students who gain academic credit receive a Certificate of Completion, as well as an official University of Edinburgh transcript stating the credits gained.
Students may use this credit towards the award of a Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits), a Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits) or a MSc (180 credits).
