ECRED (Edinburgh Centre for Research on the Experience of Dementia) held a three day event as part of the Festival of Social Sciences in the second week of November.

Japanese Working Group visit
The Japanese Dementia Working Group attended a seminar organised by ECRED in September. James McKillop’s talk was filmed for Japanese TV and after the seminar Professor Heather Wilkinson was interviewed and filmed as well.
ESRC funding awarded for impact
The ESRC Impact grant provides funding for projects conducted with research user partners, aiming at generating benefits to society and the economy from research. The funding is provided through the Impact Accelerator Account awarded to the University of Edinburgh. We are delighted to have been awarded one of these grants in the latest round.
