Head shot of Shari Sabeti

My research focuses on arts and cultural heritage education and is driven by a strong interest in interdisciplinary approaches, as well as relational (ethnographic, participatory) and creative (arts and visual methods) based methodologies. My projects have explored issues of translation/adaptation (cultural, modal and medial), migration and displacement, creativity and inspiration, as well as the significance of the arts to processes of ageing. I work in schools, museums, and community contexts in both global north and global south contexts.
