HiSS Research Methods Community

These meetings were set up as a new initiative in January that we hoped will encourage the sharing of best practice from colleagues across the School. The aim is to learn about methods, share ideas of research, and help each other with methodological methods.

We want to re-introduce our Research Methods Community sessions on a monthly basis and we need your help to do it.

 

Next meeting 27th January Please note this meeting was scheduled for 25th November but it has been postponed due to strike action 

 

The topic for the day is 'An Overview of Systematic Review Methods'.

Meeting agenda:

13.00 -13.40: Dr. Jan Pringle will talk through an overview of systematic review methods

13.40-13.50: Dr. Divya Sivaramakrishnan will present a systematic review example 

13.50-14.00: Systematic review example 2- please do get in touch if you would like to talk about your systematic review

14.00-15.00: A chance to have a one-on-one discussion about your systematic review with experts. Networking and informal discussions.

Please note: this session will focus on methods of conducting a systematic review and not address analysis
