School of Health in Social Science

This is us exhibition

This is us

This is the outcome of over a years’ worth of work on the ‘Curating our Narrative Project’ to define the School, who we are and what we stand for.

Come and see a showcase of our research and the giant sculpted coat created by ECA students to represent the School.

The exhibition will be open at Inspace between

Monday 21st and Friday 25th October, 11 am – 1 pm.

In 2018/2019 staff from the School of Health In Social Science attended a series of workshops to think creatively about their School; who they are, why they do what they do, and their vision for the future. Working with Paul Gentle and Stuart Delves from Invisible Grail they worked to create a narrative that could strengthen their purpose and vision. The workshops produced a range of creative outputs from vision statements to Haiku poems. One element of the workshop was to conceptualise a creative art piece to symbolise the School and all that it does.

The artists:

Paloma del Valle, Kyle Maenz, Sara Balestrieri and Vanna Paabor.
