A Let's Gather event: We're all Mental!

If neuroscience allows us to physically locate our thoughts, anguish and distress, can we identify a fix? Could this be our key to happiness and contentment? If mental illness is largely defined by not being typical, who wants to be?

Join us on 25th October 2018 for an evening of fun, pizza and drinks. Professor Matthias Schwannauer will be giving a talk on how we define mental illness now, and in the future, called ‘We’re All Mental’. He recently performed this sell-out show at the Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas at this summer’s Edinburgh Fringe. Join him, and fellow students and staff, for some lively debate on this topic, which intersects with our studies and research.
