School of Health in Social Science

School Community

Find out more about our School community including student funding and our community event initiatives.

During the past year when access to the campus has been limited, our community activities moved online.  Student representatives, student community leaders, and staff are working to ensure that you have the opportunity to develop a sense of belonging to your programme of study, the School and the University. Over the next year we will be offering online and on-campus opportunities to meet with others, build networks and make friends.

Many opportunities for engagement are created through how we organise our teaching online, providing the opportunity for you to work in small groups or engage in discussion through discussion boards. By engaging with the opportunities presented you will develop a sense of belonging to a community of students as well as make friends.

Look out for information about University, School and Students' Association events, seminars and social activities. These will be advertised on our website and social media channels. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook
