Radiation Protection Unit

Competence Assessment

Details of competency assessments for RPU produced training courses

Competency Assessments have been added to all RPU produced courses available on LEARN. These assessments demonstrate that you have understood the content of the course. You will need to pass the assessment before any work with radiation can commence. The questions will all be relevant to the course you have undertaken and require 70% mark for a pass.

Your Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS List - EASE Authenticated) or School Laser Supervisor (SLS List (secured) - EASE Aunthenticated) will check your mark before sigining off a Proposed Scheme of Work form or allowing you to commence with work.

Accessing the assessments

You will find a competency assessment in each RPU produced training course in Learn. Details of the training courses available by the RPU are given on the RPU course list page.
