Signs

Electronic copies of signs, provided by the RPU, which must be used for ALL ionising radiation work at the University.

In order to ensure a consistent and readily identifiable approach to designated area demarcation, all such University areas working with ionising radiations must be labelled using a standard notice. The format of these notices has been agreed by the Radiation Protection Committee and the layout should not be changed. In order to assist the relevant Schools and research groups, the RPU have made these signs available electronically.

Controlled Area notices

Controlled Area signs must have a yellow background.
