Portable fire fighting extinguishers are available in all buildings within the University Estate. The distribution and maintenance of the extinguishers is the responsibility of the Fire Safety Unit and the provision and supply of the extinguishers is closely monitored. Fire extinguishers are provided to support first aid fire fighting and should only be used by trained staff.
