Assisted Evacuation
Guidance for the emergency evacuation of people requiring assistance from University buildings.
The University has a responsibility to ensure that all people who use or visit its buildings, are able to evacuate safely in an emergency. Individuals who would need assistance to evacuate may require a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP).
The information on this page covers the PEEP process, associated roles and responsibilities, as well as the University's provisions for assisted evacuation which incudes Temporary Waiting Spaces and Recovery Teams.
