Study Abroad programme
The Study Abroad programme allows students taking an undergraduate degree elsewhere to spend a year or a semester at the University of Edinburgh.
We have over 200 exchange places for students from partner universities outside Europe.
We have over 400 exchange places for students from partner universities across Europe.
You can spend between two and three months on an Erasmus+ Traineeship, carrying out research work at the University of Edinburgh.

There are opportunities for visiting postgraduate level students and visiting research students to study here in Edinburgh. Available opportunities vary in each college/school.
