Study Abroad programme
The Study Abroad programme allows students taking an undergraduate degree elsewhere to spend a year or a semester at the University of Edinburgh.
We have over 200 exchange places for students from partner universities outside Europe.
We have over 400 Erasmus exchange places for students from partner universities across Europe.
You can spend between 2 and 3 months on an Erasmus+ traineeship, carrying out research work at the University of Edinburgh.
Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility
Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility is a funding mechanism which is available to a select group of nominated International Exchange students.
Research and Postgraduate Level Options
There are opportunities for visiting postgraduate level students and visiting research students to study here in Edinburgh. Available opportunities vary from college to college.
Unfortunately, the Parliamentary programme will not be running from 2020/2021 onwards.
