How to apply?
Applications are made through your Accommodation Hub on the MyEd portal.
You will find answers to commonly asked application questions in the FAQs section of the Accommodation Services webpage:
You must first accept your offer to study abroad in Edinburgh and then apply for university accommodation by the deadlines stated on our Dates for your diary page.
If you do not meet the deadline, we will not be able to guarantee an offer of university accommodation.
The move-in dates for university accommodation are also available on the Dates for your Diary page.
If you are organising your own accommodation, please look at the following webpages which provide help and guidance for students during the flat-hunting process, as well as highlighting how to avoid any tenancy issues:
Unfortunately, postgraduate students are not guaranteed an offer of university accommodation.
Visiting students studying with us on an exchange agreement will be asked whether they wish to be considered for a place in our postgraduate residence and, if so, their details will be passed to a member of our Accommodation team who will contact them if there is availability.
