Students at the University of Edinburgh have many opportunities to attend events. There are lots of ways to find out what's on during your time here as an international student.
The best way to find out about our events is to like and follow our page on Facebook. It's a great way to become part of the international student online community, and we'll be able to invite you to our regular events as well as let you know about other events on campus and beyond that you might like.
Past events include:
We organise an annual Thanksgiving potluck dinner in association with the Chaplaincy, Edinburgh University Students' Association and the International Student Centre. The event is free but ticketed.
We work with Edinburgh University Students' Association and the International Student Centre to host an annual Lunar New Year celebration. This is an opportunity for students of all nationalities to share their own traditions, or simply to find out what the festivities are all about.
Go Connect is a forum for international students to meet with members of the local community. Meeting a local person or family can help you settle into University life, learn more about Scotland, enhance your experience of studying abroad and increase your understanding of local traditions and customs. We run meet and greets to help hosts and students meet each other and find out more about the program.
Edinburgh University Students' Association run events throughout the year for students.
