Developing leaders is essential for global palliative care, different models of how this can be achieved will be discussed alongside a review of the evidence.

Sharing the evidence from a variety of studies being undertaken in resource limited settings including the first evaluation of nurse prescribing for palliative care.

Examining the significance of palliative care in the context of Universal Health Coverage - new evidence will be shared.

Identifying educational resources for palliative care for vulnerable populations and the implementation of palliative care in a range of settings.

 

Speakers will come from a range of organisations and projects including the Global Health Academy, Makerere Palliative Care Unit, Cairdeas International Palliative Care Trust, the International Children’s Palliative Care Network, EMMS ……..
