Hospitals in the Cross-Fire: Is Aid in War Really Possible?

Afghanistan. Yemen. Syria. With the increasing number of targeted attacks on medical facilities in conflict zones around the globe in the last 12 months, a panel of experts from the humanitarian sector, medicine, academia and journalism will discuss these alarming developments and the efforts being made by the sector to counteract them in order to provide access and security for humanitarian aid.

They will explore whether aid in these complex conflict conditions really is still viable in the 21st century, or rather becoming too much of a dangerous pipedream.

After the debate there will be the opportunity to talk with representatives from MSF, Mercy Corps, Red Cross, the Edinburgh Global Development Academy and other organisations
