Networks and Societies
We are engaged in many global health networks, and ourselves act as a portal for new network creation within the UK and globally.
- Global Health PhD Network
- Alumni Clubs with Planetary Health Pledges
- Also see the consortia, groups and networks listed on our Partnerships page
Our members are involved in leading these networks:
- HIV, Human Rights and Development Network

Many students across the University are involved in global health related activities through their relevant student societies, including
(Our networks are always expanding. Please be in touch if you notice something is missing from these lists).
The Global Health Academy (GHA) at the University of Edinburgh is open to all who are working towards finding solutions to our global health challenges.
Inclusivity and equity of opportunity is at the heart of the Academy. Through our communities of practice, you can become involved in one of the many networks for engagement in collaborative research, education, training and partnerships across disciplines. Membership will enable you to participate in global debate, discussion and knowledge exchange through social media, symposia and round tables.
Join our global mailing lists and receive updates on GHA activities, other relevant global health news and information on current calls for abstracts and funding.
