Dr Harrison lectures at the Summer Academy of the International Foundation for the Law of the Sea

Dr Harrison, Director of the Scottish Centre for International Law, lectured at the 7th Summer Academy of the International Foundation for the Law of the Sea.

Dr James Harrison gave a lecture on the "Protection and Preservation of the Marine Environment under the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea" at the Seventh Summer Academy of the International Foundation for the Law of the Sea.

This is Dr Harrison’s second year lecturing as an invited member of the faculty at the annual event held by the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in Hamburg.

The Academy was first established in 2007 to provide an opportunity for academics and professionals to develop knowledge of international maritime affairs.
