GESA student receives Commonwealth Office and Chevening Scholarship grant

A student on the LLM Programme in Global Environment and Climate Change Law has received a prestigious grant.

Maksym Beznosiuk has been awarded a grant from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Chevening Scholarships Secretariat.

The money will allow her to organise an event on EU climate and energy law, as part of the Chevening Scholar-Led Events Programme.

The event, entitled ‘Climate Change Responses in the EU: legal, political and social implications and ways forward’, will take place on 22nd March at Edinburgh Law School.
